THE ESCALAD IN PROVENCE: EXCEPTIONAL SITES
Les Calanques de Marseille, la Sainte Victoire, Buoux, les Gorges du Verdon, le Baou de Saint Jeannet, Aiglung,..., all of the prestigious names that made the region famous.
In the Calanques de Cassis, we will find unusual and wild places where the blue of the sea brings out the bright whiteness of limestone: a must for the change of scenery. In the gorges of the Verdon is the great vertigo that picks you every visit.
The impressive and very vertical cliffs offer an infinite playing field for any climber on a large track. The landscape here is remarkable and largely deserves the nickname of « colorado Provençal ».
The Nice hinterland offers a huge choice of sites from the coastal cliff to the Mercantour mountains.
Provence is undoubtedly the paradise of climbing but also of canyoning and the hiking.
