General conditions of sale

  1. PARTICIPATION: The practice of our activities requires to be in good health and without medical contraindication for the chosen activity; to respect the minimum age required and the conditions set out below. Each participant will have to carry out the instructions of the supervising professional.
  2. MINORS: Parental or Collective Authorization: For any unaccompanied minor, regardless of the activity performed, parental authorization or collective authorization for any structure in which we trust minors is compulsory. For Canyoning, children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  3. MATERIAL: Equipment provided by South East Climbing is certified and in accordance with existing safety standards. Additional equipment not provided but required for the activity will be indicated at the reservation.
  4. COMMENT: Our instructors and coaches are state graduates and registered with our youth and sport delegation. Participation in the activities shall be subject to their assessment according to the moral, physical and sporting abilities of the participants.
  5. SECURITY: Before each departure an explanation of the use of the equipment and the basic safety rules is made. The feasibility of any programme shall be subject to the assessment of the monitors, who shall take into account the weather conditions and the individual suitability of the participants to carry out the programme.
  6. METHODOLOGICAL CONDITIONS: All our activities take place in the open air therefore the weather conditions are taken into account but are in no case a cause of cancellation by the customer. They are at the discretion of the professional who supervises the activity. As long as the activity is carried out by South-East Escalade no reimbursement will be made.
  7. PERSONAL EFFECTS: South-East Escalade accepts no liability for loss, damage or theft of your personal belongings. Value objects are strongly discouraged.
  8. Insurance: Security and preventive measures are our primary concerns. South East Escalade has professional civil liability insurance for these activities as well as insurance for its customers. We strongly advise each participant to have individual civil liability insurance.
  9. LISTING MODALITIES AND REGULATION: Registrations for activities and ancillary services are made by reservation at Sud-Est Escalade, subject to availability. All registrations will be taken into account only upon receipt of all booking items, Name, telephone, number of participants. The total sum of the benefit will be due on the day of the activity, before the departure for the activity. By your registration you acknowledge that you have been informed and accept our general terms and conditions of sale. As part of a group or registration of several persons, the subscriber undertakes to make known and approve the general information and conditions of sale and any documentation to all participants.
  10. CUSTOMER'S ANNULATION: Any cancellation from you before the start of the activity must be sent by registered letter with A.R.; this is the date of the acknowledgement of receipt of this letter, which will be retained as the date of cancellation for the invoicing of cancellation fees. If you withdraw more than 30 days before your activity, the sums paid will be refunded to you unless you have a lump sum of 30 euros (30 €) per file. From 30 days prior to your activity, your withdrawal will result in: 30 to 21 days: 25% of the amount; 20 to 8 days: 50% of the amount; 7 to 2 days: 90% of the amount; less than 2 days: 100% of the amount. If you are unable to carry out the activity, you can offer us another person on the condition that she meets the same conditions without assuming any booking fees already incurred in your name, which would therefore remain due. You are required to inform us between 7 and 15 days before the activity. Any withdrawal or cancellation within 2 days will not be refunded. Any benefit interrupted or not consumed by the participant or the subscriber, whatever the reason, will not be refunded.
  11. Cancellation by «South-East Escalade» : The supervising staff (state graduate) reserves the right to modify, with or without prior notice, any program according to weather or safety conditions. Therefore, alternative activities may be organized without any of the participants being entitled to any compensation. If South-East Escalade is in total obligation to cancel a departure, whatever the reason, participants will be fully reimbursed without being entitled to any other additional compensation.
  12. OUR RATES INCLUDE: The supervision by a graduate person, his insurance in Professional Civil Responsibility and specific equipment.
  13. OUR RATES DO NOT INCLUDE: Your route to the starting point of the activity, rental of additional equipment, photos and videos, catering, accommodation, drinks and personal expenses.
  14. AUDIOVISUAL PROPERTY AND IMAGE RIGHTS: By participating in one of our activities, you expressly and without restriction agree that your image be used for promotional and advertising purposes on all our media « papers » and our modern communication and telecommunications tools (Videos, Photos, Website, Social Networks), unless requested in writing by you, addressed by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt and photo for your identification. In accordance with Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on computer science, files and freedoms, you have the right to access and correct or delete information about yourself.
